TONY HODGKINSON

By day I'm a pre-press studio manager, by night I turn to traditional painting with acrylic on canvas. Over the years I have focused on what I love: popular culture. ~ Tony Hodgkinson

Educated to degree level in visual arts and illustration, I have been involved with some great charity drives over the years. Donating work to the beautiful people of the Midlife Gamer community to help raise money for the UK Games Industry Charity - Games Aid. Paintings of a video game theme (amongst other stuff) were auctioned off during the aftershow party where all proceeds were given to the cause. I have been involved with the community for a number of years and it continues to grow from strength to strength.

I have also donated work to Art V Cancer charity site which is run by Julia Hall and Chris Thornley (@Raid71). These fine people concentrate on selling limited prints where a large portion of the proceeds are donated equally to various cancer charities.

I also take on private commissions where my main aim is to give you, the client, what YOU want. Time is taken and ideas shared until the idea is locked down, and you get something unique to hang on your wall for years to come.

Over the years I have had the fantastic opportunity of hanging my work on the walls of the Hero Complex Gallery, for various exhibitions - including their Marvel Avengers: Age of Ultron Art Showcase in 2015. Where you can still obtain print or two.

Please get in touch if you are interested in a personal commission, or contact me on social media if you fancy.
